**Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)– Photographers usually search for beauty in all its types and forms. From this standpoint, the Indian photographer, Elias Khan, landed on the lands of Wadi Shab in the Sultanate of Oman to observe the beauty of lotus flowers.
Khan was not alone, but was accompanied by the Russian photographer, Natalia Mikhailova.
The duo documented a small boat sailing among lotus flowers, which looked like an artistic painting from outside this world. (Watch the video above)
The photography angles varied between close-ups and aerial shots.
In general, lotus flowers can be found in many places, such as China, Japan, India, and Russia.
But it was distinguished in a different way in the Sultanate of Oman.
The two photographers said in an interview with CNN Arabic: “It is located in the middle of a beautiful valley, near the seashore.”
“The lotus farms in Oman are among the most beautiful sites we have ever seen, and they are still not as famous as they should be,” the duo added.

The photographers advise visiting the lotus gardens in the summer, specifically during the months of May and September.
This is a non-tourist season due to the high temperature. For this reason, the place is not very popular.

Wadi Shab is located in the Tiwi district of the Wilayat of Sur, in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, and is 140 kilometers from Muscat, on the Quriyat-Sur coastal road, according to what was stated on the website of the Ministry of Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman.
On its outskirts, fresh water descending from the highest mountains interacts with salty sea water, as a result of the valley’s proximity to the sea, which in turn helped create environmental diversity through which nature has shaped elements that distinguish this valley from the rest of the valleys of the Sultanate.
The trip to Wadi Shab is an exciting adventure, as some areas can be reached via a boat trip, and during the trip the visitor can also walk on foot among the mountain highlands, according to the “Visit Oman” website.
