Paddle and canoe-kayak infrastructures have been inaugurated on the outskirts of Brussels.
Browse a section of the Senne, a few kilometers from Brussels, aboard a canoe or a paddle : if the company was complicated until now, it is now possible thanks to new dedicated infrastructures, inaugurated this Sunday. Thus, departure and arrival pontoons have just been installed, along a “peddelroute” of more than six kilometres.
This crosses les territories de Hal, Leeuw-Saint-Pierre et Beersel. If accompanied sessions are scheduled on Sundays, lovers of the discipline can also paddle alone, by scanning a QR-Code to be geolocated.

“After heavy historical pollution, we have considerably improved the quality of the water in the Senne. From now on, you can fully enjoy the river in a sporty way“, thus declared Zuhal Demir (N-VA), Flemish Minister for the Environment, questioned by PajotNieuws and present at the inauguration of this Sunday.
