When we talk about the Musée des beaux-arts du Locle (MBAL), a painting appears, emblematic of its collection: young girl reading, by Albert Anker, painted around 1882 and acquired the following year by the Society of Fine Arts and the Le Locle museum. This painting is at the heart of the exhibition The pleasure of the textthe first signed by Federica Chiocchetti.
