Davos plays it fun
Guitar riffs, crazy descents in the powder snow, emotion during a hockey match, there is enough to lose your breath in Davos, and it is not the fault of the altitude. Rock’n’roll stay in the Engadine!
Set at 1500m at the bottom of a wide valley, Davos looks like a city dweller with its long flat-roofed buildings. These sanatoriums dating from the beginning of the 19th century welcomed patients suffering from tuberculosis for cures in the sun and fresh air. Once penicillin was discovered, the establishments turned into hotels, keeping their long corridors ideal for enjoying the view. Davos, with a population of 10,000, promises to be the highest city in Europe. No dead time here, it moves, it lives, throughout the year.
