Al-Marsad newspaper: Scientists from the University of the East of England confirmed that regular consumption of sharp blueberries improves memory and activates the brain.

The researchers reported that the sharp blueberry fruits improve episodic memory as well as brain activity, according to “Novosti”.

For his part, David Vazor, who supervised the experiment, said: “We took into account that the sharp currant was able in a relatively short period of time to improve memory and brain activity, so we need to determine whether it has the same effect in people with neurodegenerative diseases.”

The researchers urged the addition of other fruits, nuts and spinach besides sharp blueberries to the diet.
