Discussing strengthening military cooperation relations between the UAE and Jordan

A delegation from the Ministry of Defense, headed by Major General Staff Pilot Mubarak Ali Abdullah Al Neyadi, Head of the Executive Department for Defense Policies and Strategic Affairs, participated in the meeting of the Joint Committee for Military Cooperation between the UAE and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The delegation was received by Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in his office at the General Command, where the two sides discussed ways to enhance military cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries and joint coordination in all military fields.

The delegation also visited the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Brigade / Rapid Intervention, and listened to a briefing on the role of the brigade and its areas of use, as well as the King Abdullah II Center for Special Operations Training in the Field of Combating Terrorism.

The delegation also visited the Jordanian Design and Development Center and was briefed on the manufacturing capabilities and production lines of the defense companies affiliated with the center.

At the end of the committee meeting, the minutes of the twelfth meeting of the joint committee for Emirati/Jordanian military cooperation were signed.
