A cannabis field has just been dismantled in the village of Sadaga located near the Gambia by the Kounkané anti-drug unit. Thus, this operation is part of the fight against drugs and organized crime.

Indeed, this sleuthing raid was facilitated by the arrest of a notorious dealer in the village who held 7 kilograms of Indian hemp in his possession. And it was as a result of this and thanks to the insight of the anti-drug unit that this field was dismantled, according to our source.

In the same dynamic, it should be remembered that the regional narcotics brigade of Kolda was also able to dismantle last month a vast field of Indian hemp in Saré Daouda in the commune of Bourouko in the department of Yoro Foula. Moreover, during this operation three individuals were arrested, including two for cultivation of Indian hemp and one for possession and trafficking of Indian hemp, according to our source.
