Disney pulls latest ‘Star Wars’ movies from next year’s list

Walt Disney Co on Thursday pulled “Rogue Squadron”, a Star Wars movie, from next year’s film schedule, without saying when it would release a new movie in the hit space franchise.
“Rogue Squadron” was supposed to be the first Star Wars movie to hit theaters since “The Rise of Skywalker,” directed by Patty Jenkins, premiered in December 2019. Wonder Woman movie.

The film was previously delayed from 2022 to December 2023 due to Jenkins’ scheduling conflicts.

The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the reason for the film’s withdrawal.

Disney has broadcast several “Star Wars” TV shows in the past few years on its Disney+ streaming service. Her next series, “Andor”, will be broadcast for the first time on Wednesday.
