Disney+ starts advertising next month –

It’s been almost exactly a year since Disney+ launched its ad-supported subscription plan in its home country, and the time has come for Europe to get a taste of it. On November 1, subscriptions will begin changer on the service, becoming a bit more expensive if you want to skip the ads. However, for those who already subscribe to Disney+, the price increases and changes won’t come until a month later, in December.

What will change? The price of the Premium subscription will increase to 10.99 euros per month, with video quality of up to 4K with HDR and Dolby Atmos. Standard retains its £7.99 per month price and offers up to 1080p video quality with surround sound. What’s new is what Disney calls the “ad-supported standard”, which will cost £4.99 a month and offer the same video and audio quality as the standard.

It is not yet clear what the duration and frequency of the advertisements will be. However, from what we know from the United States, it appears to be 30 to 45 seconds before each movie or TV show, followed by two to four commercial breaks during viewing.

Which subscription will you choose or is this the final straw that will make you stop subscribing to Disney+?
