TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Disney on Wednesday filed a lawsuit once morest Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over the state’s takeover of land where its theme parks are located, alleging that the Republican waged “a selective campaign government retaliation” following the company opposed a law known as “don’t say gay.”
The lawsuit was filed minutes following a DeSantis-appointed oversight board voted to void an agreement that placed design and construction decisions for the theme park in the hands of the company.
