Disturbing scene in Chicago as Boston Bruins forward Jakub Lauko was hit in the face by a skate on Tuesday evening.
The Czech got up and quickly headed to his team’s locker room, his face covered in blood.
Fortunately, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery indicated after the game that Lauko was OK.
“It was scary, but it’s okay, the skate blade didn’t hit his eye. Everything will be alright.”
Lauko needed stitches around the edge of his eye.
