Serbian Novak Djokovic announced Thursday, before the draw for the US Open tennis tournament, that he will not be able to participate in the last Grand Slam that begins on the 29th of this month, because he is unable to enter the US due to not receiving the anti-Corona vaccine.
“Unfortunately, this time I won’t be able to travel to New York for the US Open… Good luck to my fellow players! I’ll keep myself in good physical shape and mentally positive while waiting to be back in action,” Djokovic said on his Twitter account.
