Paris – Top seed Novak Djokovic moved into the semi-finals of the Masters 1000 event in Paris with a victory over defending champion Holger Rune. The Serb defeated the Dane and second-round conqueror of Dominic Thiem on Friday 7:5,6:7(3),6:4. In the fourth duel with Rune, Djokovic made it 2-2. Last year he lost to Rune in the Paris final. The semi-final opponent of the world number one is Andrej Rublev (RUS) after his 4:6.6:3.6:1 over Alex de Minaur (AUS).
