Paris – Novak Djokovic lived up to his role as favorite in the final of the Masters 1000 tournament in Paris-Bercy on Sunday. The 36-year-old Serb defeated the Bulgarian surprise finalist Grigor Dimitrov 6:4,6:3 and won his 40th title in events at this highest ATP level alone. He went 12-1 head-to-head with Dimitrov and has now won 18 matches in a row. It was the “oldest” final on the 2023 tour.
