Around three o’clock on the night of Tuesday, a man in his 30s was shot dead outdoors in Helsingborg, writes Helsingborgs Dagblad.

The man was found dead in a courtyard in the Planteringen area. A larger area is cordoned off.

Door knocking in the area has begun, according to the police. A technical investigation of the site is still ongoing in the early morning.

The police do not want to comment on whether the victim was previously known to the police, but possible connections to an ongoing conflict between criminal networks are being investigated.

As recently as Friday, a 33-year-old man was shot dead in Helsingborg, according to information to HD, the police’s main lead is that the man was murdered so that he would not be able to testify in another ongoing investigation. In that case, five men, three of whom are 18 years old, have been in custody since yesterday.

– We will of course investigate whether there are points of contact, but we will not go into any details at the moment, says Katarina Rusin, police spokesperson.
