Washington: After introducing many controversial new features and policy changes, the company’s CEO, Elon Musk, has come up with a new opinion poll on Twitter. The question is whether he should resign from the position of head of Twitter. Musk says he accepts the poll’s results. Eight hours after the start of the Twitter poll, 56.7 percent of people are of the opinion that Elon Musk should step down. 43.3 percent say no.
On Sunday, Twitter announced that it will ban links to other social media accounts and other social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Mastadon and Truth Social. The company has a policy of no longer allowing free of other social media platforms on Twitter.
As part of this, Twitter will remove other social media accounts from Twitter accounts created solely for the purpose of campaigning and content that contains links to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Mustadon and Truth Social.
According to reports, customers are very upset with these changes. Twitter, which has long been a place for serious social media engagement, has not welcomed this move among consumers.
There’s no telling how far Musk’s polls, asking whether he should step down as Twitter boss, turn out to be in his favor.
