A doctor was shot in the neck when he was in an outpatient clinic, in the early hours of this Tuesday, February 22. The incident occurred in Chichiriviche, Falcón state.
The event occurred when antisocials entered the care center to steal, as reported by the NGO Médicos Unidos de Venezuela on its Twitter account.
It also transpired that the doctor was injured in the maxilla; while the nurse who was on duty with him suffered head injuries, after receiving a blow to the head with a gun.

The doctor was transferred to Puerto Cabello (Carabobo), and the nurse to San Felipe (Yaracuy), both are stable.
The doctor was identified as Luis Sánchez, and the health professional as Grisel Mavarez.
The relatives of the female began a solidarity campaign through social networks, in order to raise funds to pay for a tomography and other clinical tests that she requires, according to the report. Daily Morning.
