Does drinking water at once cause cirrhosis of the liver? .. Al-Khudairi answers • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The specialist in carcinogen research, Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi, answered the question, “Does drinking water all at once cause cirrhosis of the liver?”

Al-Khudairi said, through his account on Twitter: “A message is circulating claiming that drinking cold water closes vessels and arteries, and drinking water at once causes cirrhosis of the liver, and this is absolutely not true.”

He explained: “Drinking water at once or on hunger does not cause cirrhosis of the liver and does not harm the body at all. Three batches are mentioned in the hadith: high prophetic literature to prevent pollution, and it concerns breathing so that it does not breathe into the vessel and contaminate it.”
