Does fatigue really count as training intensity?

Sports are popular, and many people start to go to the gym for different purposes such as health, good body, and even sports performance. However, many people use the fatigue after training as an indicator of intensity, and even feel that they are not tired at the moment, or not the next day. Training for soreness is not training, but did you know that fatigue is not the same as training intensity?

Fatigue does not equal training intensity

Although there will be a little fatigue during training, the degree of fatigue is not necessarily equal to the training effect, because fatigue is a multi-faceted thing, and many people can get fatigue from different places, such as the environment, work, and even daily life. Unsatisfactory things that will make you tired will become the source of your fatigue, but these will not help your bones, muscles, and nerves to grow better.

Similarly, although low-intensity training methods can achieve fatigue effects under a large number of repeated operations, the results are only low-intensity fatigue, which is a relatively low-level muscular endurance performance. There is no significant improvement in performance, or in preventing muscle loss and neurological degeneration.

What is training intensity?

The so-called training intensity refers to the percentage of stimulation to the maximum capacity of the body. Take squatting as an example. When you can only squat 1 time with a 100 kg squat, then 90 kg is 90% of your intensity. Squatting with bare hands under load, even if you squat 100 times hard, but because there is no load bearing, even if you are tired, it is only a training to “improve fatigue”.

And if you want to achieve so-called “training intensity” you need at least 65-85% of the intensity, so you should not rely on fatigue as an indicator of training intensity.

So how should I train to be effective?

In addition to re-examining your own training intensity, please achieve adequate sleep, nutritional supplements and proper fatigue management in daily life, especially the part of fatigue management. Before thinking about how to eliminate fatigue, please reduce unnecessary Fatigue occurs.

It is recommended that when planning training, please increase the training volume in a gradual manner, and reserve space for rest, so that your body and mind will not be overworked, so that your muscles can get a good recovery effect, and you can also avoid unnecessary injuries. The hard training is in vain!
