Today, Thursday, Sheikh Muhammad Aoun, the legal officer at Desouk Court in Kafr El-Sheikh, and the official spokesperson for the Association of Legal Officers in Egypt, revealed a number of rumors related to the support of the Family Fund for those about to get married, according to the new family law.
At first, the spokesperson for the Association of Legal Officers in Egypt denied, during a private interview with “Masrawy”, what some have recently said about setting fees related to supporting the family fund by obliging the groom to pay an amount of 30,000 pounds, asking: “Who set the fees? .. Is the Minister of Justice Or any official in the state who said the groom will pay this amount?
He emphasized that what is being circulated in this regard is just a rumor launched by one of the impersonators of the authorization status, whose purpose is to exploit the idea for his personal matter in order to move young people in the engagement stage and their families to expedite their marriage contract, but in the end it caused confusion among citizens and its result was negatively reflected among the masses.
He explained that he had arrested that person impersonating the authorization, after the Legal Officers Association took the legitimate and legal methods against him, as it was found that he was subcontracting for one of the authorized officials’ offices in violation of the law.
Aoun stressed that the family fund support law is not new, but it actually exists and its current fees are 100 pounds, and with the new law, after its implementation and public publication, its support fees will be in amounts not exceeding 400 or 500 pounds, in return for which the state will support it, and benefit from it a lot. It will be published with its issuance, after the end of the committee charged with preparing it.
Aoun said that over the course of 72 hours, a torrent of communication poured in on him, like the rest of his colleagues in his profession, to ascertain the fact that the groom paid that huge amount as fees for supporting the family fund because of the rumor that was launched by the impersonator of the authorization status, besides that there are many who wish to complete his marriage contract before Issuance of the law.
The official spokesman for the Association of Legal Officials in Egypt warned citizens to deal with people who are not real authorized persons, after the spread of many impersonators of legal status and marriage brokers recently, after it was proven that confusion was created among citizens for personal purposes.
