Doha: Six and a half lakh people have visited the Doha Expo, which has reached the middlelist for the first time. The expo started on October 2.
Figures indicate that the International Horticultural Expo, which was held for the first time in the Middle East, was taken over by locals and expatriates alike. After 40 days, six and a half lakh people visited the Expo venue. Many people including school students, foreign visitors, environmental activists and students are coming to Doha Expo, which continues with the love of ‘green desert, better environment’.
Many people come to learn about the agricultural and environmental protection schemes of different countries and to understand the cultural heritage. Officials stated that more than 80 percent of the pavilions that are part of the expo, which will last till March 28, have already been opened. Pavilions of other countries will also be opened in the coming months.
