10 workers from the Dole company, located in Lontué, indicated that they were induced to hide in a cold room during the visit of one of the managers, who arrived from abroad to the plant this Wednesday.
The complainant, named Hernán Rojas, indicated that they were summoned at 6:30 a.m. for the morning shift, even though the usual admission is at 8:00 a.m.
In this context, one of the bosses in charge of the personnel told them that by superior orders they had to lock yourself in a disused cold roomwhich generated the indignation of those affected.
“I find it unusual, because if the bosses go to you they must see you working. “I asked the boss and she told me that she had received orders from superiors,” he said.
Rojas stated that this situation is the first time it has happened to him, so he immediately wanted to make the complaint on social networks, knowing that it might cost him his job.
“It’s the first time it’s happened to me. They hid us, my colleagues were also upset, but I think it’s good to let it be known,” she added.
