Former US President Donald Trump announced the death of his ex-wife, Ivana Marie Trump, according to American media.
“I am deeply saddened to inform everyone who loved her, including many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” Trump wrote on the True Social website.
He added: “She was a wonderful, beautiful and amazing woman, who lived a wonderful and inspiring life, her pride and happiness were her three children, Donald Jr, Ivanka and Eric, she was very proud of them, because we were all proud of her.” Rest in peace, Ivana.
The Trump family also released a statement: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ivana Trump, our mother was a wonderful woman – a powerhouse in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, a caring mother and friend, Ivana Trump was a survivor, escaped communism and embraced it. Country, she taught her children courage, toughness, compassion and determination. Her mother, her three children, and her ten grandchildren will miss her very much.
