Popular Monster brand energy drinks are being recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The seven beverages below are not to be consumed, used, sold, served or distributed domestically, it says.
All targeted formats are 473 ml, except the Monster Energy “Juice Ripper”.

“The affected products are being recalled from the marketplace due to various non-compliances related to caffeine content and labeling requirements,” reads the Government of Canada’s website. .
The government body warns of the dangers associated with caffeine consumption for certain vulnerable groups.
“High levels of caffeine can have adverse health effects in children and people who are pregnant, nursing and those who are sensitive to caffeine,” it says.
“If you believe you have been ill following consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider.”
