Dorce Gamalama Dies

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Artist Dorce Gamalama died on Wednesday (16/2/2022).

This was confirmed by his friend, Hetty Soendjaya.

“That’s right, at half past eight, he died at Simprug Hospital,” said Hetty when confirmed Kompas.com.

Hetty says, Dorce passed away because of Covid-19.

Currently, the body is still being treated by the hospital.

Hetty Soendjaya and his family have not been able to confirm where Dorce Gamalama’s body will be buried because they have to follow the Covid-19 protocol.

Previously reported, for several months Dorce was hospitalized back and forth due to diabetes.

Dorce’s health condition briefly declined in October 2021.

Dorce mightn’t walk and had to use a wheelchair.

In addition, Dorce was also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
