Vienna (OTS) – On April 25, 2023, the book presentation of the 2nd edition of “Startup Investing” (Linde-Verlag) took place in the well-attended DORDA Lounge.
Particular attention was paid to the DACH region. Burkard Gantenbeinangel investor and representative of the DACH region in the field of angel investing, gave insights into the specific challenges and opportunities for investors in this region.
The co-authors of the book Startup Investing Catherine Gewesslertax consultant at Ecovis, Bernhard Rieder, DORDA Partner Corporate Law and Benedikt Raischlawyer in Germany at Heuking Kühne Luer Wojtek spoke about the legal and tax aspects of startup investments and gave valuable tips for successful investments in the DACH region. Lukas Herrmannlawyer and head of start-up group at DORDA, added his experience for start-ups.
Interviewed in a relaxed and humorous atmosphere reminiscent of the popular TV show “Welcome to Austria”. Stefan Artner, Bernhard Rieder and Karen Kreutzer, AUBMES co-founder and investor invited the co-authors of the evening to share their expertise and experiences in the field of startup investing. Overall, the book launch was a success and offered the audience valuable insights into the DACH region for startup investing. The audience of this DORDA Clarity Talk, investors and clients, were enthusiastic about the expertise of the authors and the practical advice of the experts from the industry.
“Startup Investing”, published in the 2nd edition by Linde-Verlag, is an indispensable book for anyone who wants to invest in young technology companies and is looking for a solid basis for successful investments, especially in the DACH region.
Theresa Weiglhofer-Troy von Linde Verlag explained that the good sales of the 1st edition and the unchanged high importance of the book for the startup ecosystem encouraged the publisher to publish a 2nd edition. Weiglhofer-Troy also confirmed the legal and tax extension to include the DACH area and the two additional new chapters for a very important, informative book extension.
