GFF Lower Austria selects DPU project in the field of basic research for funding

Krems (OTS) The Danube Private University (DPU) Krems has once more been successful in a competitive tender. The Society for Research Promotion Lower Austria (GFF NÖ) is funding the DPU project “Aptamers and Odorant Binding Proteins – Innovative Receptors for Electronic Small Ligand Sensing”. The total sum of the project is just over EUR 426,000.

The DPU project was selected from 30 applications for funding. The summary of the jury session as follows: “After completing the evaluation, the jury came to the conclusion that the submitted project application is eligible for funding. The main reasons for this are as follows: The project is considered to be very promising and very innovative. The goals and methodology of the research work intended as part of the project including of the work program are well thought out.”

As a small private university, the DPU is currently represented in eleven internationally and nationally funded projects.
