The Director of the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, Dr. Kholoud Al-Ali, reassured the health condition of the doctor who was assaulted while performing his professional duty, explaining that there has been close follow-up to his condition since the assault, and thankfully his condition is reassuring and improving, expressing deep regret over this reprehensible and unacceptable behaviour.
Al-Ali praised the efforts of the center’s staff, including medical, nursing, technical and administrative staff, and their keenness to perform their duty and noble mission according to the best quality standards required.
She added: In the interest of the safety of workers and auditors, the center requested to extend the working hours of the security police point to be around the clock, seven days a week, pointing to the support and assistance of the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, and the Undersecretary, Dr. Mustafa Reda, and coordination with the Ministry of Interior in this regard, stressing The safety of workers and auditors is a red line that cannot be tolerated, pointing out that the center follows up all legal procedures that guarantee the right of the doctor and the center.
