In a press release published during the day of Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the Guinea Bar expressed its compassion and support for the victims of the explosion which affected the hydrocarbon depot during the night from Sunday to Monday in Kaloum.
At the same time, the leaders of this organization congratulate the Guinean authorities and those of goodwill for the outpouring of solidarity.
However, the Bar condemns the behavior of certain individuals who are already speculating on the price of fuel and other basic necessities.
The men in black robes invite the Guinean authorities to take all appropriate measures to put an end to such attitudes contrary to the spirit of solidarity which constitutes a fundamental element of Guinea’s motto.
