The Supreme Council of Civil Society DRC did not at all appreciate the search of the headquarters of the Mzee Laurent Désiré Kabila Foundation and the arrest of the president of this foundation by the security services. In a press release, a copy of which reached capsud.net, this structure headed by Professor Carlos Mupili condemned this act which it considers “relentless”.
“The Supreme Council of Civil Society DRC condemns the acts of search of the Mzee Kabila Foundation, by DEMIAP elements. This, without respecting the procedure which requires the presence of the person concerned or their counsel to avoid the assembly of false evidence. The Supreme Council of Civil Society DRC is also surprised by the summons of Janet Kabila to DEMIAP« , lit-on.
This organ of civil society requests the personal involvement of the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi to put an end to what he describes as a “horror method”
Finally, the Supreme Council of Civil Society DRC sent a message to DEMIAP.
It should be noted that the headquarters of the Mzee Laurent Désiré Kabila Foundation was visited a few days ago by the security services. The reasons for this search have not yet been revealed.
