Will artificial intelligence revolutionize the world of animation? Longtime industry executive Jeffrey Katzenberg believes so.
During the Bloomberg New Economy Forum conference, the co-founder des studios DreamWorks (“Trolls”, “Shrek”, “Madagascar” etc.) explained that AI will be able to considerably reduce the cost of creating successful animated films. “In the good old days, it took 500 artists and years of work to make a world-class animated film. I don’t think we’ll need 10% in three years,” the longtime industry executive said.
