Drinking water shortage persists in Mississippi

The inhabitants of the capital of Mississippi, one of the poorest American states, still do not have drinking water. After major flooding in Jackson, the city’s main water treatment plant failed. Some believe the problem runs deep in the majority black city which historically has endured racism.
