Carabineros confirmed the arrest of a driver, who was caught driving a high-end vehicle, in an area of the Curacaví commune, at 235 kilometers per hour.
The report indicated that it was a BMW brand car, which was traveling through the Ruta 68, at the height of the commune in the Metropolitan Region.
The car was controlled and photographed at kilometer 52 of the aforementioned highway, during the last hours. The maximum speed allowed in that section is 120 km/h.

The driver was arrested and placed at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office, which determined his formalization this Saturday at the Local Police Court.
On the other hand, the BMW Z4 model car was seized by the authorities.
“When using the device for remote control, “This showed that the vehicle was traveling at 235 km/h, so it was arrested,” indicated Captain Eduardo Oyarce.
“The call is to respect speed regulations, especially on interurban roads to prevent traffic accidents and protect your loved ones and those around you,” added the police officer.
