Foreigners who are newly recruited to Saudi Arabia on a driver visa from abroad can use their local license. You can drive in Saudi Arabia for up to three months from the date of arrival of the recruited visa. This was clarified by the Saudi Traffic Directorate. A foreign driver coming to Saudi Arabia on a new work visa must have his home country license translated by an authorized institution. Only the type of vehicle mentioned in the license should be driven. The directorate pointed out that if the conditions are not followed, it will be considered a traffic violation.
