Dubai Customs seized 5.7 kg of cocaine from a young woman from a Latin American country. The girl was being questioned on suspicion of misconduct. X-ray examination revealed some abnormalities in the luggage. A detailed examination revealed that it was cocaine.
3.2 kg of cocaine was found in plastic bags in a secret compartment inside the bag. The shampoo bottle contained 2.4 kg of cocaine. Ibrahim Kamali, Director, Passenger Operations Department, said that Dubai Airport has state-of-the-art equipment for drug trafficking.
