The singer, who is due to release her new album Radical Optimism on May 3, has announced a tour which will visit the Nîmes arenas on June 12 and 13, 2024.

While Dua Lipa’s new album Radical Optimism is due to be released on May 3, the singer has announced a tour in Europe to promote her next record. It will kick off on June 5 in Berlin, Germany.

Dua Lipa will then perform in Pula, Croatia, to finally conclude her series of shows with two performances at the Nîmes arenas, on June 12 and 13, as part of the Nîmes Festival. These are currently the British popstar’s only two dates in France in 2024.

A pre-sale is planned for this Thursday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the site of the Nîmes festival. The official ticket office will open on Friday 22 from 10 a.m. on the Ticketmaster and Live Nation websites.

Dua Lipa will also perform at the British Glastonbury festival, which takes place from June 26 to 30.

An album “still pop but different”

Three years after the release of his album Future Nostalgia, Dua Lipa announced his return in February, with a new album, Radical Optimism, scheduled for May 3.

Driven by the singles Houdini and Training Season, the British artist’s third album will contain 11 tracks “inspired by the energy of Dua’s hometown, London, and by the rawness, honesty, confidence and freedom of the Britpop of the 90s”, specifies the singer’s team in a press release relayed by Variety.

For this album, Dua Lipa surrounded herself with Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr. and Caroline Ailin who have already worked with the singer on her titles Houdini and Training Season. Asked by NME last November, Dua Lipa confided that this third disc would be “still pop but sonically different”.
