Dubai Fitness Challenge 2021: Join the Citywide Movement for a Happy and Healthy Life

The seventh edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge has begun. A happy and healthy life. That is what the Dubai Fitness Challenge aims to achieve. The Fitness Challenge was launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan started the challenge by reminding the role of exercise in a healthy life.

The challenge is to set aside 30 minutes of exercise for 30 consecutive days. It is expected that this time more people will participate in the program which will be held till 26th of next month. Team sports, group fitness classes, football, yoga, cycling etc. will be held at various places as part of the challenge for free. There will be more than 600 fitness classes. Anyone of any age can participate.

During the first week, Kite Beach, Mushrif Park and One Centraal will be the main venues for events. Classes will start at Kite Beach Fitness Village from October 31. 24 sports are arranged here. There are others for children. Mushrif Park will have 136 guided group bike rides. Beginners, children and families with experienced riders can participate. Free bikes will also be provided subject to availability. You can come for exercise at One Central from 7 am to 10 am.

Dubai Women’s Run and Dubai South Ride and Run will be held on November 5. Dubai South Ride is a 40 km and 80 km cycle ride through Dubai South. In Dubai South Run, the race is in 3, 5 and 10 km. Dubai Ride, one of the main attractions of the fitness challenge, will be held on November 12. This year’s challenge will conclude with the Dubai Run on November 26. Last year 22 lakh people participated in the challenge. This was 180 percent more than the previous year.
