DP World Group has partnered with Greater Caspian Association, Intigral Group and the annual Caspian Week Forum, to host a joint event at the World Cargo Summit 2023 in Dubai.
This event represents a significant development in the process of raising the efficiency of logistics and trade services in the Greater Caspian Sea region and confirms the strong commitment of the DP World group to support the growth of the region.
Cooperation between the DP World Group and the Caspian Week Forum began in November of last year with the signing of a memorandum of understanding during the World Shipping Summit 2022 to explore opportunities for cooperation in the greater Caspian region.
The Caspian Week Forum, the conference dedicated to connecting the Greater Caspian region with the world in the fields of business, economy, education, science and culture, is an independent platform for all stakeholders to explore investment opportunities, discuss regional challenges, enhance cooperation and attract global trading powers interested in the potential of the Greater Caspian region.
The joint event of Caspian Week 2023 during the World Shipping Summit will focus on developing logistics services and trade in the Greater Caspian Sea region. This cooperation is very important given the complexities of the Greater Caspian Sea region and the need for smooth cross-border operations.
DB World is actively assisting with projects in the region, with the aim of overcoming technological challenges and infrastructural obstacles. One of the pressing issues dealt with was customs operations within logistics, an area in which the DP World group is making great strides with the Global Logistics Passport initiative, which provides ease in trade and smooth movement of goods.
