In collaboration with Cardo, Ducati has developed the Communication System V3 as the successor to the V2 model. The antenna-less design improves comfort and sound quality, while the magnetic mount simplifies helmet attachment.
The “Dynamic Mesh Communication” system allows communication with a group of up to 15 motorcyclists within a radius of 1.6 kilometers. It can also connect to any Bluetooth device, managing functions with voice commands and automatically switching between communication system and phone.
Cardo’s mesh connectivity allows the device to leave and rejoin the group automatically. After a two-hour full charge, 13 hours of operation are promised, following 20 minutes it should already be two hours. Software updates are possible via USB cable or via the Cardo Connect app.
Cardo’s Ducati Communication System V3 costs EUR 327.05 and is available from dealers and will soon also be available on Shop.Ducati.com. (awm)
