Those who claim that they are going to Tuesday’s legislative session in order to avoid a vacuum in the municipal and elective sites, especially the blocs of the opposition parties and the “Free Patriotic Movement”, but their claim is false, given that President Mikati called for a meeting of the government on Tuesday and on his agenda is the item of securing the necessary approval to conduct Municipal and elective elections, and therefore the balance of this entitlement has become secured, and there is absolutely no reason to prevent its completion on time.
As for the administrative and logistical readiness, I will mention again that the Minister of the Interior, who is the primary and main concern with the municipal elections, has repeatedly confirmed his readiness “administratively and logistically” to hold them as long as the necessary budget is approved to complete them.
