Kochi: Actor and producer Dulquer Salmaan says that Pyali will be a film that stays in the mind even after watching the film. The idea presented by the film is very thought provoking. Pyali has a very sweet story. The cast is rich though. Very special to him. Even though it is a short movie for kids, it will definitely be a discussion. Dulquer Salmaan said that even after watching the movie, Pyali and other characters will remain in the mind.

He wanted to make all kinds of films. Loved children’s movies. Wanted to be a part of some films related to children. That’s how films like Anmaria Kalipil and Parava were made. Dulquer added that he came to Pyali out of that one wish and after hearing the story, he liked it very much.

This little picture evokes the depth and breadth of brotherly love. The film tells the story of five-year-old Pyali and her brother Siya. Pyali is jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films and NF Varghese Pictures in memory of late legendary actor NF Varghese. This year’s state award for art and child actor went to Pyali. The film is written and directed by Babita and Rin.

Barbie Sharma is coming as Pyali. George Jacob, Srinivasan, Mamukoya, Appani Sarath, Rafi, Altaf Salim, Sujith Shankar, Aadulam Murugadoss and others are playing other characters in the film. The cinematography of the film is done by Jiju Sunny. Editing done by Deepu Joseph. The music is composed by Prashant Pillai with lyrics by Preeti Pillai, Sreekumar Vakiyil and Vinayak Sasikumar. Sound design is by Ranganath Ravi. Geevar Thambi is the project designer.
