SeaActor Dulquer Salmaan has revealed that he has taken a break from romantic films in connection with the release of Taramam. The actor said that such a decision is taken as per the request of the fans. But actress Mrinal Thakur has requested to change this decision of Dulquer. The actor was asked about this in an interview given on the occasion of the Hindi release of Sitaram. The actress said that it was a heartbreaking decision to say that Dulquer would not act in romantic films.
‘Dulquer’s decision not to act in romantic films is disappointing to me. Look at Shah Rukh Khan. He has done so many great romantic roles. Saying that Dulquer will not act in romantic films is a heart-breaking decision’ – Mrinal clarified in an interview to Bollywood Hankama.
‘I am taking a temporary break from romantic films. Dulquer replied to the actress that he would do it if a good script comes.
Seetharamam hit the theaters on August 5. Released in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil languages, the film collected well. Dulquer played the role of Lieutenant Ram. The Hindi version of the film, which released on September 2, is also receiving good response.
