Dunkirk recruits Ketkeophomphone – Fil Info – Transfers

Dunkirk, 2e of National 1 which will be in Ligue 2 next season, announced this Wednesday the signing of the former Angers player Billy Ketkeophomphone for the 2020-2021 season from Cholet (12e from National 1). The 30-year-old forward, who has 53 Ligue 1 and 114 Ligue 2 games to his credit, is a weight and experience boost for USL Dunkirk. With his former club Cholet which he joined in late November, Ketkeophomphone scored five goals and delivered two assists in twelve games. Dunkirk coach Fabien Mercadal is delighted with his arrival: “Billy, he’s a boy everyone knows. He had an incredible Ligue 1 season with Angers and was then sent off the field due to an injury. He returned, was loaned to Auxerre (Ligue 2) where it did not go as he would have liked. Then we started to find the Billy we know in Cholet. He’s a player who goes for his technical touch and his high level experience. He has a great frame of mind as we like in Dunkirk. “
