Duos Technologies Secures $500M AI Hosting Deal with Axe Compute

Duos Secures 55 Megawatts in Mega-Deal

Duos Technologies Group, Inc. has locked in a 5-year, $500 million hosting service agreement with Axe Compute Inc. through two project entities. The deal secures 55 megawatts of AI facility capacity spread across multiple U.S. data center sites.

Inside the Infrastructure Economics

Official disclosures show the $500 million baseline covers the initial five-year term, factoring in annual escalators while carving out power and usage fees.

The build-out targets next-gen GPU hardware densities, focusing on density, cooling, and availability requirements.

Phased Execution and Strict Milestones

Project preparation is slated to kick off in late 2026, stretching into early 2027. This timeline hinges on construction, commissioning, and performance testing before Axe Compute gives its formal written sign-off.

Billing isn’t automatic. Every single dollar is strictly tied to successful completion milestones, service readiness tests, and direct deployment sign-offs.

Duos Chief Executive Officer Doug Recker noted that the agreements represent a critical step forward in the company’s AI infrastructure strategy, proving their capacity to turn development opportunities into long-term commercial relationships.

On the other side of the ledger, Axe Compute CEO Chris Miglino emphasized that the projects are designed around the density, cooling, and availability requirements of next-generation GPU systems.

Equity Stakes and Neocloud Dynamics

Beyond standard colocation leasing, the deal features skin in the game. Duos and Axe Compute have executed a non-binding term sheet allowing Axe Compute to consider a minority equity stake in the special purpose vehicles handling these projects. Duos is expected to retain majority control.

This partnership pairs Jacksonville-based Duos Technologies—specialists in modular data center colocation facilities and infrastructure solutions—with Pittsburgh-based Axe Compute, a neocloud AI infrastructure platform.
