Cape Town: Durban Super Giants won the South African Twenty20 League. Durbans won by 36 runs against Mumbai Indians Cape Town. Batting first, Durbans scored 157 runs for the loss of six wickets. In reply, Cape Town managed to score 121 runs for the loss of nine wickets.
Cape Town won the toss and chose to bowl. Durban’s batting performances were opener Matthew Breitzke 48, middle order JJ Smuts 26 and tail end Vian Mulder 38 not out.
Sam Curran’s 38 runs was the only thing to be said for Mumbai who replied. With no significant batting performances from the Cape Town side, the match went in favor of Durban. Noor Ahmed and Marnes Stonis took three wickets each for Durbans.
