The marriage of Caucasians from the Netherlands to a woman from Tasikmalaya using Sundanese customs has become viral on social media. Netizens are busy commenting on the appearance of the groom’s family who also wears traditional clothes, kebaya and beskap.
The moment of the wedding of a couple from different countries went viral after being shared via the TikTok account @temanmenikahorganizer. In the uploaded video, the Caucasian groom can be seen wearing a beskap suit, while the bride looks elegant in a kebaya and Sundanese Siger.

The two brides wore matching nude and gold wedding dresses. The 20-second video also shows a series of traditional Sundanese receptions.
The upload of the wedding couple from different countries immediately went viral and has been watched by more than 797.3 thousand views. The moment of the wedding received a flood of comments from netizens.

Wolipop has contacted Rini A. or who is familiarly called Arsi as the owner of the wedding planning and organizer of Friends of Marriage, who uploaded the wedding moments of the couple from different countries. Arsi immediately told the story behind his upload.
“The groom comes from the Netherlands, Evert Anne Gerjan Nijmeijer. The bride, Reny Dwi Ai Manganti comes from Eureunpalay, Cibalong, Tasikmalaya. The contract carries a traditional Sundanese concept,” Arsi told Wolipop via WhatsApp
The wedding planner and organizer, who has been around since 2021, said that Reny and Evert Jan’s wedding was held on June 8, 2023 at the Aulia Hall Center Tasikmalaya, West Java.
“Sundanese traditional ceremonies in the morning and international concepts in the afternoon. What is unique is marrying outsiders but still maintaining and preserving Sundanese culture. Including the groom who uses beskap and the groom’s parents who use kebaya,” concluded Arsi.
