DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) and the Manchester United Foundation have launched the DXC Digital Futures Academy, a four-year educational program for secondary school students in Greater Manchester.

By developing key social and technical skills, the Academy aims to support and empower young people to seize opportunities they would otherwise not have access to, improve their career prospects and shape the future of work.

The Digital Futures Academy curriculum was developed jointly by the technology experts at DXC, the Manchester United Foundation and local teacher advisory groups. Together they will build the social leaders of the future through mentoring, personal development and hands-on practice. At the end of the program, students receive support to pursue further education, studies, an apprenticeship or employment.
