A complicated launch
The launch was so chaotic that Techland even encouraged players to wait for patches to roll out before resuming their game. However, the developers quickly identified the various problems and indicated within which approximate timeframes the updates could come to put an end to the inconveniences encountered. A number of issues have been addressed, including with Dying Light 2’s co-op mode, while what can be called the “death loop” was causing players to see their character die immediately after starting a game . In the absence of a fix still existing, this bug asked to try to reload a previous save and if that did not work, the only other option was to restart Dying Light 2 entirely, which could involve losing hours of play, no recovery of data then not being possible.
