E-mobility: Alveri and ISG with cooperation

In 2019, the company Alveri was founded as an e-mobility startup by the Rieder brothers Ehsan and Jakob Zadmard. One focus is on expanding the charging infrastructure for e-mobility, both for companies as well as cities and communities. Alveri now wants to take a further expansion step alongside the ISG (Innviertler non-profit housing and settlement cooperative).

“The first public charging station will be set up on Riedauer Straße in Ried. Depending on capacity, additional stations will be created step by step,” says Ehsan Zadmard.

The charging infrastructure at the residential complexes will enable residents to charge their electric vehicles from the comfort of their own home. “This step not only makes the transition to e-mobility easier, but also helps reduce ‘range anxiety’.” This is a frequently cited obstacle to switching to an electric car, says Zadmard. The charging stations are designed to guarantee fast and reliable charging.

“The introduction of this charging infrastructure is a big step towards a sustainable transport future,” says Herwig Pernsteiner, CEO of ISG. “We are firmly convinced that committed support of electromobility not only relieves the burden on the environment, but also brings economic benefits for our community. We hope that other companies and organizations will also follow our example,” says Pernsteiner.

There will probably be enough demand for the ISG in the future. Around 35,000 people live in a building managed by ISG. “In order to anchor e-mobility in people’s everyday lives, comprehensive and accessible charging options are essential,” says Zadmard.
