EA SPORTS PGA TOUR launches March 24, 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the EA app, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Pre-sales have begun for EA SPORTS PGA TOUR, the only game to feature all four major men’s golf tournaments – the Masters, PGA Championship, US Open Championship and The Open.
Additionally, EA SPORTS PGA TOUR will launch with the Road to the Masters game mode bringing lore and challenge with Augusta National, Masters-related challenges, tournaments and gear. The Masters made their first-ever virtual appearance in EA SPORTS PGA TOUR 2011 and the return to a video game has been overwhelmingly requested by golf fans. With ShotLink® powered by CDW and TrackMan, Pure Strike also makes it possible to replicate the unique swings and attributes of every professional player. Pure Strike incorporates all three aspects of every shot – the swing mechanics which relate to the length of the backswing and the speed of the follow through, the innovative ball behavior which allows each bounce to react precisely through a variety of terrain and course conditions, as well as the realistic course dynamics that relate to their real-world twins.
In addition to being the only game that boasts all four major men’s tournaments, EA SPORTS PGA TOUR is packed with experiences and content that players have been clamoring for within a golf game, including:
– The most famous courses in the world – you have the opportunity to tee off at 30 courses, including many of the most famous destinations like Augusta National Golf Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Southern Hills Country Club, The Old Course at St Andrews Links, The Country Club, Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Ocean Course, Torrey Pines, Evian Resort Golf Club at Évian-les-Bains in France, East Lake Golf Club, TPC Southwind, The Los Angeles Country Club, Wilmington Country Club and more.
